The Opportunity

Thinkingbox is looking for an experienced IT expert who is a proactive creative individual at heart and also has a passion for doing things the right way, especially when it comes to office aesthetics and organizational technical implementations. We are looking to level up our operational office game when it comes to physical build-outs as well as software and hardware management inside our office spaces. If you love to make and produce professional results, then you are in the right position. We have the creative space and position for you.

The primary focus is to support the Vancouver office. This position will also support our Toronto, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City offices as well.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Provide and implement clean technical solutions for all offices
  • Work with the Managing Directors in each office to keep staff up to date with the tools and necessary hardware
  • Work with the CTO and Director(s) of Creative Technology in day to day IT operations
  • Work with leadership to maintain design and aesthetics of all hardware in the physical office spaces
  • Administer and maintain computer networks
  • Analyze infrastructures and make recommendations according to current and future needs
  • Document all interventions and updates of information in our systems
  • Hardware support (troubleshoot/repair/replace)
  • Onboard and offboard staff with the necessary equipment
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software requests
  • Respond to all internal requests, managing impact, and priorities
  • Perform server upgrades/support
  • Implement and migrate servers and network infrastructures
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and assets
  • Take charge of various ad hoc IT projects
  • Provide remote support to other Thinkingbox offices

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years experience in an IT support role
  • Experience in technical support of Mac environments
  • Strong knowledge of G-Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sense of organization and priorities
  • Highest concern for the quality of customer service
  • An eye for design in physical office spaces
  • An eye for the creative and growth!
